2006–07 USHL Season
The 2006–07 USHL season is the 28th season of the United States Hockey League as an all-junior league. The regular season began on October 5, 2006, and concluded on April 14, 2007, with the regular season champion winning the Anderson Cup. The 2006–07 season added the Ohio Junior Blue Jackets as an expansion team. The 2007 Clark Cup playoffs featured all twelve teams playing in division-based seven-game series in the opening round, followed by a quarterfinal round-robin where the winners of the opening round play each other team once. The semifinal match-ups were made by pitting the top teams in the two round-robin series against the second-place team from the opposite division in a single-elimination game with the two victors meeting in a single-game championship match. United States Hockey League
The United States Hockey League (USHL) is the top junior ice hockey league sanctioned by USA Hockey. The league consists of 16 active teams located in the Midwestern United States and Great Plains, for players between the ages of 16 and 21. The USHL is strictly amateur, allowing former players to compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) college ice hockey, college hockey. The Fargo Force won the Anderson Cup as the 2023–24 USHL season, 2023–24 regular season champions, as well as the 2024 Clark Cup, Clark Cup playoff championship, their second in franchise history. Operations The USHL is the country's top sanctioned junior hockey league, classified as Tier I. Lincoln Stars
The Lincoln Stars are a Tier I junior ice hockey team playing in the United States Hockey League (USHL). The Stars' home ice is the Ice Box on the former Nebraska State Fair grounds and adjacent to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. History With prompting of Lincoln realtor Mark Claydon, who spear-headed an effort to build the city's first and only indoor ice arena, the Stars came to Lincoln in 1996. Led by Derek Reynolds and future NHL player Josh Langfeld, the Stars posted a 40–13–1 regular season record, the best expansion season in USHL history. The Stars continued their domination through the playoffs, losing just two playoff games en route to winning the Clark Cup. Every game was sold out at the 4,231-seat Ice Box. Carter Camper
Carter James Camper (born July 6, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey forward currently playing for IK Oskarshamn of the HockeyAllsvenskan. In 2010, after four seasons in the NCAA, Camper signed with the Boston Bruins of the National Hockey League (NHL). Since turning professional, he has played most of his professional career in the American Hockey League (AHL). In February 2014, Camper was traded to the Columbus Blue Jackets, and in July 2014, Camper joined the NHL Ottawa Senators organization as a free agent. In July 2015, he signed as a free agent with the Washington Capitals.
