Arrowhead Pond
Honda Center (formerly known as the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim) is an indoor arena located in Anaheim, California. The arena is home to the Anaheim Ducks of the National Hockey League. Originally named the Anaheim Arena during construction, it was completed in 1993 at a cost of US$123 million. Locally based Arrowhead Water paid $15 million for the naming rights over 10 years in October 1993. In the short period of time after the Anaheim Ducks, Mighty Ducks franchise was awarded and before the naming rights deal with Arrowhead, Disney referred to the Arena as the Pond of Anaheim. Robert Blair (badminton)
Robert Blair (born 7 August 1981) is a Scottish badminton player. Blair was born in Scotland, but after attending Loughborough University in Leicestershire, he competed for England from 2001 until 2010, except at the Olympic Games, where Scotland and England are both parts of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team. His main motivation for changing nation was the prospect of medals at the Commonwealth Games. On 16 December 2010 Badminton England and Badminton Scotland announced that Blair would be returning to Scotland. The reason(s) for Blair's return to Scotland remain unclear, but reports suggest a falling-out with members of the Badminton England setup was central to the decision. Lee Hyo-jung (badminton)
Lee Hyo-jung (; ; born 13 January 1981) is a South Korean former badminton player. She won the gold medal in badminton mixed doubles at the Badminton at the 2008 Summer Olympics, 2008 Summer Olympics with her partner, Lee Yong-dae. Lee Hyo-jung and Lee Yong-dae were unseeded, and in the finals they beat the top seeds and 2005 and 2007 world champions Lilyana Natsir and Nova Widianto of Indonesia, 21-11, 21-17. Lee Jae-jin (badminton)
Lee Jae-jin (; ; born 26 January 1983) is a badminton player from South Korea. Career In 2003, he won the Hungarian International tournament in the mixed doubles event, and at the Norwegian International, he won the doubles title in the men's and mixed doubles events. In 2005, he won the mixed doubles title at the South Korea, German, Thailand, and Malaysia Open with Lee Hyo-jung. In Thailand, he also won the men's doubles title with Jung Jae-sung. Lee played at the 2007 BWF World Championships in men's doubles with Hwang Ji-man. They were seeded tenth and were defeated in the third round by Candra Wijaya and Tony Gunawan, 21–17, 21–16. Mette Schjoldager
Mette Schjoldager (born 21 April 1977) is a Danish badminton player from Viby, Roskilde Municipality, on the island of Zealand. Career Schjoldager made her debut at the Olympic Games in 2000 Sydney. Teamed-up with Ann-Lou Jørgensen, they beat Elena Nozdran/ Viktoriya Evtushenko of Ukraine in the first round, but was defeated in the second round by Indonesian pair Etty Tantri/ Cynthia Tuwankotta. Jens Eriksen
Jens Dyrløv Eriksen (born 30 December 1969) is a badminton player from Denmark. He competed in four consecutive Olympic Games from 1996 to 2008, and won a mixed doubles bronze medal in 2004 partnered with Mette Schjoldager. At the World Championships, Eriksen won two silvers in 1995 and 1997, and also two bronze medals in 2001 and 2006. Zhao Tingting (; born 28 November 1982) is a Chinese badminton player from Nantong, Jiangsu. Zhang Jun (; born November 26, 1977, in Suzhou, Jiangsu) is a former male badminton player from the People's Republic of China. He is now a coach with the Chinese national team following his retirement as an international player. Career As a doubles specialist, the solidly built Zhang Jun won several international men's doubles titles with compatriot Zhang Wei including the Swiss (1998), China (2001), and Thailand (2005) Opens. However, the majority of his titles, and the most prestigious ones, came in mixed doubles when he teamed up with the formidable Gao Ling. Gail Emms
Gail Elizabeth Emms MBE (born 23 July 1977) is a retired English badminton player who has achieved international success in doubles tournaments. A badminton player since the age of four, Emms was first chosen to represent England in 1995 and regularly played for her country until her retirement from professional sport in 2008. Her best results were winning gold at the 2006 World Championships in Madrid, 2004 European Championships in Geneva, and a silver medal at the 2004 Olympic Games, partnering Nathan Robertson in the mixed doubles.
