2004–05 Middlesbrough F.C. Season
During the 2004–05 season, Middlesbrough participated in the FA Premier League. Final league table Kit During this season, Middlesbrough had a new sponsor, 888.com. The team's kit was produced by Errea. The home shirt included a white band on it for the first time since the 2000–01 season. The away strip was mainly white with maroon sleeves, navy blue shorts and white socks. Away to Southampton, white shorts and navy socks were worn with the away shirt. Season review After the triumph in the League Cup final the previous season and a solid 11th-place finish in the league, Boro fans were optimistic that this season would be a success. Dorival Guidoni Júnior (born 28 May 1972), known simply as Doriva, is a Brazilian football coach and retired footballer who played as a central midfielder. From 2003 until 2006, he played for English Premier League club Middlesbrough, winning the 2004 League Cup and finishing as runner-up in the 2005–06 UEFA Cup. Anthony McMahon
Anthony McMahon (born 24 March 1986) is an English football coach and former player who played as a right back. He is currently director of football at York City. Born in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, McMahon started his playing career with Middlesbrough, with whom he spent eight seasons, including loan spells with Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday, before moving to Sheffield United in 2012. James Clark Morrison (born 25 May 1986) is a football coach and former player, who is currently a first-team coach at West Bromwich Albion and the Scotland national team. Morrison played as a midfielder for Middlesbrough and West Bromwich Albion between 2004 and 2019, and is regarded as one of the greatest midfielders in West Bromwich Albion's history. Stewart Downing (born 22 July 1984) is an English former professional footballer. He played most of his career as a winger or left-back He is currently the assistant coach for Leeds United's U21 squad. Downing started his career at Middlesbrough, where after a loan at Sunderland, he became a key part of the team, winning the League Cup in 2004 and helping them to the UEFA Cup final two years later. George Antwi Boateng (born 5 September 1975) is a former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder.
