2004–05 CEV Women's Champions League
The 2004–05 CEV Women's Champions League was the highest level of European club volleyball in the 2004–05 season. It was the 45th edition of Europe's top volleyball tournament for club teams which began with the group stage starting November 10, 2004, and ended with the final-four in Tenerife, Spain, on March 20, 2005. Twelve teams participated in the competition and the final victory went to Volley Bergamo for the fourth time. CEV Women's Champions League
The Women's CEV Champions League, formerly known as CEV Champions Cup (from 1960 to 2000), is the top official competition for women's volleyball clubs of Europe and takes place every year. It is organized by the Confédération Européenne de Volleyball (CEV) and was created in 1960 as . On 13 November 2000, it was officially presented in Florence under a new format and renamed . Formula The competition has changed its format since the first fourteen teams took part at the inaugural edition in 1960–61. Through the era, as the number of participating teams has changed over time, the competition moved from an only knockout tournament to include a round-robin format between the final four competitors to determine the champion. 2004 In Women's Volleyball
4 (four) is a number, numeral and digit. It is the natural number following 3 and preceding 5. It is a square number, the smallest semiprime and composite number, and is considered unlucky in many East Asian cultures. Evolution of the Hindu-Arabic digit Brahmic numerals represented 1, 2, and 3 with as many lines. 4 was simplified by joining its four lines into a cross that looks like the modern plus sign. The Shunga would add a horizontal line on top of the digit, and the Kshatrapa and Pallava evolved the digit to a point where the speed of writing was a secondary concern. Victoria Ravva
Victoria Ravva (born October 31, 1975) is a Georgian-born volleyball player who represented both Azerbaijan and France in international volleyball. She spent the most of her career in RC Cannes. Ravva was born in Tbilisi. She started her career in BZBK Baku (1989–1993) and Ankara Vakifbank (1994–1995). She is married to Georgian volleyball player Alexandre Jioshvili. Lyubov Vladimirovna Sokolova ( (Шашко́ва), also known as Lyubov Kılıç and formerly known as Lyubov Shashkova, born 4 December 1977) is a Russian retired volleyball player, Honored Master of Sports of Russia. Azerrail Baku (') is an Azerbaijani women's volleyball club based in Baku. Azerrail is a six-time champion of Azerbaijan Women's Volleyball League and the winner of CEV Cup in 2002 and Challenge Cup in 2011. History Azerrail was founded in 2001 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
