2004 Desafío Corona Season
The 2004 Desafio Corona season was the first season of stock car racing in Mexico. The serial was presented in March as Desafío Corona. After 14 races Carlos Pardo of Equipo Telcel was declared champion. Cars Pontiac Grand Am was the car used for almost drivers. Only two Dodge Stratus The Dodge Stratus is a mid-size car introduced by Dodge and Chrysler in December 1994, built on the four-door sedan Chrysler JA platform. MasterCard Truck Series
The NASCAR Mikel's Truck Series (formerly known as the MasterCard Truck Series) is a Mexican pickup truck racing predecessor of Desafío Corona. Drivers NASCAR Corona Series drivers participated in the MasterCard Truck Series, including Jorge Goeters, Patrick Goeters, Marcelo Nuñez, César Tiberio Jiménez, Sebastián Ocaranza, Sebastián Ocaranza, Jr., Julio Bracho, Jr., José González, and Oscar Ruiz. César Tiberio Jiménez
César Tiberio Jiménez (born July 4, 1969) is a Mexican racing driver. He is the son of Filiberto Jiménez and champion in several categories in Mexico (Mexican Formula Three Championship, Formula Three, MasterCard Truck Series). Family He is the son of driver and promoter Filiberto Jiménez, who built the Autódromo Monterrey. His brother Gilberto and nephew Gilbo Jiménez, Gilbo are also drivers. Career Tiberio debuted in Formula K at 17 years old. He won in Formula Three International on 1991 and 1992. In 1993 he ran in the 1993 Indy Lights, Indy Lights, but did not have much success. He later ran in the Indy Lights Panamericana. Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez
The Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is a motorsport race track in Mexico City, Mexico, named after the racing drivers Ricardo Rodríguez (1942–1962) and Pedro Rodríguez (1940–1971). The circuit got its current name in 1979 after Ricardo Rodríguez died in practice for the non-Championship 1962 Mexican Grand Prix and his brother Pedro was also killed behind the wheel nine years later. Since 2015, the track has once again hosted the Formula One Mexican Grand Prix, an event it previously hosted in two separate periods on a different layout, the last occasion of which was in 1992. Zacatecas () is the principal city within the municipality in Mexico of the same name, and the capital of the state of Zacatecas. Located in north-central Mexico, the city had its start as a Spanish mining camp in the mid-16th century. Native Americans had already known about the area's rich deposits of silver and other minerals. Due to the wealth that the mines provided, Zacatecas quickly became one of the most important mining cities in New Spain.
