2003–04 PAOK FC Season
The 2003–04 season was PAOK FC, PAOK Football Club’s 78th in existence and the club’s Superleague Greece#Seasons in Alpha Ethniki and Superleague Greece, 45th consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. The team will enter the Greek Football Cup in the First round and will also enter in 2003–04 UEFA Cup, UEFA Cup starting from the First round. PAOK FC
PAOK FC (, ), short for "Pan-Thessalonian Sports club, Athletic Club of Constantinople, Constantinopolitans" (), and commonly known as PAOK Thessaloniki, PAOK Salonika or simply PAOK, is a Greek professional Association football, football club based in Thessaloniki, Macedonia (Greece), Macedonia, Greece. PAOK are one of the top domestic clubs, the most widely supported in Northern Greece. Established on 20 April 1926 by Greek refugees who fled to Thessaloniki from Istanbul, Constantinople in the wake of the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922), they play their home games at Toumba Stadium, a 29,000 seating capacity football ground. Vangelis Koutsopoulos
Vangelis Koutsopoulos (; born 2 February 1980) is a Greek former professional footballer. Career Koutsopoulos was born in Karditsa. He played for clubs including PAOK, Panionios, Atromitos, APOEL, and AEL Limassol. He was a member of the PAOK squad that won the 2002–03 Greek Football Cup. Georgios Koutsis (; born 10 September 1973) is a Greek professional football manager and former player. Career Born in Athens, Koutsis began playing football as a midfielder for Pannafpliakos F.C. before joining Panelefsiniakos F.C. in 1995. He would play for Aris Thessaloniki F.C. and P.A.O.K. F.C., where he would make over 100 Alpha Ethniki appearances. Koutsis won the 2002–03 Greek Cup with PAOK. Dimitris Markos (; born 31 January 1971) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He now works as a scout for OFI. Club career Markos started his football career in 1987 at Naoussa, where he played for five seasons before joining Panathinaikos in 1992. Christos Maladenis
Christos Maladenis (; born 23 May 1974) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a midfielder and a manager. Career Maladenis began his career in Skoda Xanthi, attracting the interest of Panathinaikos and AEK Athens. In the summer of 1995, he signed for AEK. Despite the injuries he had, he slowly made his presence felt, competing in many positions in the lineup, mainly in the midfield and offense. His best season was the period 1998–1999, where he scored 13 goals. He also played an incredible match against Iraklis in Kaftanzoglio Stadium, completing a hat-trick in AEK's victory with 2-3 which secured them in second place and sent them in next season's UEFA Champions League qualifiers. Petros Konteon
Petros Konteon (; born 9 May 1984) is a Greek footballer who plays for Iraklis in the Gamma Ethniki. He started his career with PAOK. He also had spells with Niki Volos, Panserraikos, Diagoras, Olympiakos Volos, Pierikos, Doxa Drama and Iraklis. Career Konteon was brought up from PAOK's academies and started his professional career for PAOK in 2002. While in PAOK he was loaned out to Niki Volos, where he spent the 2004-2005 season. Christos Karipidis (; born 2 December 1982) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a centre back. Georgios Zisopoulos (; born 23 May 1984) is a Greek former professional footballer who played as a defensive midfielder. Career Born in Katerini, Zisopoulos began playing football for PAOK, signing a professional contract in December 2004. On 22 May 2004, he made his debut in the Superleague Greece as a late substitute in an away game against rivals Aris.
