2003–04 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship
The 2003–04 All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship was the 34th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Hurling Championship, the Gaelic Athletic Association's premier inter-county hurling tournament for senior clubs. The championship ran from 18 October 2003 to 17 March 2004. The defending champion was Birr; however, the club was beaten by O'Loughlin Gaels in the Leinster final. Clonguish and Portumna made their championship debuts, while Roscommon's Athleague returned after a 25-year absence. The All-Ireland finall was played at Croke Park in Dublin on 17 March 2004, between Newtownshandrum of Cork and Dunloy of Antrim, in what was a first championship meeting between the teams. Newtownshandrum won the match by 0–17 to 1–06 to claim a first title. Newtownshandrum's Ben O'Connor was the championship's top scorer with 0-47. Ger Cunningham (Limerick Hurler)
Ger Cunningham (born 1972) is an Irish retired hurler who played for the Limerick minor team. Born in Knockainey, County Limerick, Cunningham first arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of seventeen when he first linked up with the Limerick minor team. At club level, Cunningham played with Knockainey Hurling Club. In retirement from playing Cunningham became involved in team management and coaching. At club level he was an All-Ireland-winning coach with Newtownshandrum before steering Thurles Sarsfields to a first championship in over thirty years. Cunningham has served as a selector with the Limerick minor and senior teams, before becoming technical coach with the Laois senior team. On 28 May 2015 he was appointed interim manager of the Laois senior team. Croke Park
Croke Park (, ) is a Gaelic games stadium in Dublin, Ireland. Named after Archbishop Thomas Croke, it is referred to as Croker by GAA fans and locals. 2002 Offaly Senior Hurling Championship
The 2002 Offaly Senior Hurling Championship was the 105th staging of the Offaly Senior Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Offaly County Board in 1896. Birr were the defending champions. The final was played on 29 September 2002 at St Brendan's Park in Birr, between Birr and Kilcormac–Killoughey, in what was their first ever meeting in the final. Birr won the match by 3–11 to 2–07 to claim their 17th championship title overall and a fourth title in succession. The Offaly Senior Hurling Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the Molloy Environmental Senior Hurling Championship) is an annual hurling competition contested by top-tier Offaly GAA clubs. Roscommon Senior Hurling Championship
The Roscommon Senior Hurling Championship is an annual Gaelic Athletic Association competition organised by Roscommon GAA among the top hurling clubs in County Roscommon, Ireland. Since 2008, the champions qualify to the Connacht Intermediate Club Hurling Championship, the winner of which progresses to the All-Ireland Intermediate Club Hurling Championship.
