2002–03 Indiana Hoosiers Men's Basketball Team
The 2002–03 Indiana Hoosiers men's basketball team represented Indiana University in the 2002–03 college basketball season. Their head coach was Mike Davis, who was in his third season. The team played its home games at Assembly Hall in Bloomington, Indiana, and was a member of the Big Ten Conference. Indiana finished the season with an overall record of 21–13 and a conference record of 8–8, good for 6th place in the Big Ten Conference. After beating Penn State in the opening round and Michigan in the quarterfinals, the Hoosiers fell to Illinois (73–72) in the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament. Mike Davis (basketball Coach)
Michael Davis (born September 15, 1960) is an American basketball coach at the University of Memphis. Prior to that he was most recently the head men's basketball coach at the University of Detroit Mercy, a position he held from 2018 to 2024. Davis also served as the head men's basketball coach at Indiana University Bloomington from 2000 to 2006, the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) from 2006 to 2012, and Texas Southern University from 2012 to 2018. Playing career Davis, an Alabama native, spent his collegiate playing career with the University of Alabama Alabama Crimson Tide, Crimson Tide after earning the state's Alabama Mr. Basketball, Mr. Basketball honor in 1979. In his first season, he played for the legendary C. M. Newton and then spent his final three years playing under another coaching legend, Winfrey Sanderson, Wimp Sanderson. Mount Airy, Maryland
Mount Airy is a town in Carroll and Frederick counties in the U.S. state of Maryland. It is part of both the Washington Metropolitan Area and Baltimore Metropolitan Area. Marshall Strickland
Marshall Strickland (born March 1, 1983) is an American former professional basketball player. He played college basketball at Indiana University from 2002 to 2006. He is originally from Kingston, Massachusetts and went to Winchendon Prep in Winchendon before transferring to South Carroll High School in Carroll County, Maryland. Oregon is a village in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 11,179 at the 2020 census. A suburb south of Madison, it is part of the Madison metropolitan area. The village is located mostly within the Town of Oregon. History Oregon was settled in 1841 by Bartlet Runey, and the first house was constructed in 1843. Initially the settlement was known as "Rome Corners," and there is a road south of the village which still bears that name. Miramar is a city in southern Broward County, Florida, United States. It is a suburb of the Miami metropolitan area.
