Antwon Hicks
Antwon Toritseju Hicks (born 12 March 1983) is an American/Nigerian track and field hurdler who competes in the 110-meter hurdles. He was the gold medallist in that event at the 2002 World Junior Championships in Athletics – the first American to win that title. He was twice NCAA Indoor Champion in the 60-meter hurdles. Hicks, the son of Kimilar and Ronnie Graham, grew up in Hot Springs, Arkansas and attended Hot Springs High School. While there he took part in high jump and hurdling. He was a 15-time state high school champion and the 1999 American junior champion in the high jump. He attended the University of Mississippi and competed for their Ole Miss Rebels collegiate team from 2002 to 2004. Solomon Naibei Busendich (born January 10, 1984, in Mount Elgon) is a male long-distance runner from Kenya, who won the 2006 edition of the Amsterdam Marathon as a debutant, clocking 2:08:52 hours. Biography He won his first international title at the 2001 African Junior Athletics Championships in Réduit, winning the 10,000 metres event on August 16, 2001, and also winning the 5000 metres silver medal. Sileshi Sihine (Amharic: ስለሺ ስህኔ; born 29 January 1983) is an Ethiopian retired long-distance runner. Sileshi won silver medals in the 10,000 metres at both the 2004 Athens Olympics and the 2008 Beijing Olympics as well as at the 2005 World Championships and 2007 World Championships as well as a bronze medal in 2003. He also picked up a silver medal in the 5,000 m event at the 2005 World Championships. Gebregziabher Gebremariam (Amharic: ገብረግዚኣብሄር ገብረማርያም; born September 10, 1984, in Tigray) is a retired Ethiopian long-distance runner. He established himself at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships, winning the junior title in 2002 and two silver medals in the senior races in 2004. He represented Ethiopia over 5000 metres at the 2004 Summer Olympics, taking fourth place, and over 10000 metres at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He was the 2009 World Champion in cross country. Markos Geneti (born May 30, 1984 in Gute, Oromia Region) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner who previously competed in track running, but now is a road specialist. Biography He won the 3000 metres title at the 2001 World Youth Championships in Athletics and stepped up a level to take the silver medal over 5000 metres at the 2002 World Junior Championships in Athletics the following year.
