Albert Costa Casals (; born 25 June 1975) is a Spanish former professional tennis player. He is best remembered for winning the men's singles title at the French Open in 2002. Tennis career Costa began playing tennis at the age of five. He first came to the tennis world's attention as an outstanding junior player. Nicolas Jean-Christophe Escudé (; born 3 April 1976) is a former professional tennis player from France, who turned professional in 1995. He won four singles titles and two doubles titles during his career. Escudé is best remembered for the vital role he played in the 2001 Davis Cup final against Australia on the grass-courts of Melbourne. Albert Portas Soy (, ; born 15 November 1973) is a Spanish former professional tennis player. He reached his career-high singles ranking of World No. 19 in October 2001. Hicham Arazi (; born 19 October 1973) is a Moroccan former professional tennis player. He played professionally from 1993 to the end of 2007. The left-hander reached his career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 22 on November 5, 2001. During his career, Arazi captured one ATP Tour singles title, in Casablanca. He was ranked as the world No. 1 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP). Alejandro Corretja Verdegay (; born 11 April 1974) is a Spanish former professional tennis player. He was ranked world No. 2 in men's singles by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) in 1999.
