Djurgårdens IF Fotbollsförening – commonly known as Djurgårdens IF, Djurgården Fotboll (official name), Djurgården (), and (especially locally) Djurgår'n (), Dif or DIF – is a Swedish professional men's association football department of its parent association Djurgårdens IF. Founded 1891 on the island of Djurgården, the club's home ground is 3Arena_(Stockholm), 3Arena, situated in the Johanneshov district of Stockholm. Competing in the highest Swedish tier, Allsvenskan, the club has won the List of Swedish football champions, national title twelve times and the Svenska Cupen five times. The national titles have mainly been won during three separate eras. The first period was the 1910s, when the team won four national titles. The second era occurred in the 1950s and 1960s, when Djurgården won the league four times. Andreas Isaksson
Jan Andreas Isaksson (; born 3 October 1981) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Isaksson began his career at local Trelleborgs FF, before spending two years at Juventus. He would later return to Sweden, where he won two Allsvenskan titles with Djurgården. After two seasons with Rennes, he was signed for £2 million by Manchester City of the Premier League, where he was not a regular. After four seasons in the Eredivisie with PSV, he joined Kasımpaşa in Turkey on a free transfer in 2012. He returned to Djurgårdens IF in 2016 with which he won the 2017–18 Svenska Cupen before retiring in 2018. Babis Stefanidis
Charalambos "Babis" Stefanidis (; born 8 March 1981) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder, and now manager. He is the current manager of the Swedish team Olympiacos Stockholm FC. Career Born in Skellefteå, Stefanidis started his career at youth level at IF Brommapojkarna and has also represented the Greek team Iraklis. He got his senior level debut for Djurgårdens IF in 2001, and won the Swedish Allsvenskan championship with the club in 2002 and 2003. Roy Johan Andreas Johansson (; born 5 July 1978) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He got his breakthrough with the Swedish team Djurgårdens IF, winning two Allsvenskan championships and two Swedish Cup trophies. He later played for Premier League team Wigan Athletic, before joining AaB with whom he won the Danish Superliga and was named team captain. Björn Ove Christer Mattiasson (born 29 July 1971) is a Swedish football manager and former player. He most notably played for IF Elfsborg, AIK, and Djurgårdens IF and made two appearances for the Sweden national team. He was the Allsvenskan top scorer of 1997. Club career Starting off his career with Byttorps IF, Mattiasson made his Allsvenskan debut with IF Elfsborg and was the 1997 Allsvenskan top scorer with the team. Abgar Barsom
Abgar Barsom (born 4 September 1977) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career He made his first spell at Djurgården from 2000 to 2002, after having joined Djurgården from Forward. He was later sold to Heerenveen in the Netherlands, but his time at the Abe Lenstra Stadion was not successful. Consequently, Barsom returned to Sweden and Djurgården at the start of the 2004 season. He has won the Swedish championship twice, in 2002 and 2005. After the 2006 season, Barsom announced that he was looking for a new challenge in another club. He signed a six-month contract with Greek club Messiniakos in the second division. When his contract with Messiniakos ran out, he signed for Allsvenskan team Örebro. Karl Magnus Pehrsson (born 25 May 1976) is a Swedish Association football, football manager and former professional player who is the Director of Football at Spanish club Vélez CF.
