Alex Javier Comas Yacomelo (born 14 November 1971) is a Colombian former professional association football player. Throughout his career he has played in five countries and has even featured for the Colombia national team. Biography Playing career In preparation of the 2000 Major League Soccer season, then- MetroStars manager, Octavio Zambrano, was looking for a strike partner for Adolfo Valencia. After viewing a videotape of Comas, Zambrano invited the Colombian to join the MetroStars for training camp where he impressed enough to earn a contract. Mike Petke
Mike Petke (born January 30, 1976) is an American former soccer player and coach who was most recently head coach of Major League Soccer club Real Salt Lake. Prior to his tenure with Real Salt Lake, he was head coach of the New York Red Bulls, leading them to the Supporters' Shield in 2013. Playing career College Petke attended St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School in West Islip, New York, where he was selected as an All-American, before moving on to play college soccer in Southern Connecticut State University. In 1995, he led SCSU to the NCAA Division II National title and was named Conference Rookie of the Year. Clint Mathis (born November 25, 1976) is an American former professional soccer player who played as a forward or midfielder. He appeared at the 2002 FIFA World Cup, scoring one goal. He also played in Major League Soccer for the MetroStars, where he scored five goals during a game in August 2000, a league record.
