Terje Totland (born 14 February 1957) is a former Norwegian high jumper. He represented Eikanger IL. At the 1976 Summer Olympics he finished ninth in the high jump final with a jump of 2.18 metres. In addition he finished tenth at the 1978 European Indoor Championships, fourteenth at the 1978 European Championships and sixteenth at the 1984 European Indoor Championships. Inger Marie Gundersen (born 13 February 1957) is a Jazz vocalist from Arendal. Biography When Gundersen had been a jazz singer for 25 years, her debut albumet ''Make This Moment'' was released in 2004, with her own jazz quintet "My Favorite Strings". The album was eventually released in over 25 countries and she has been touring in Asia and in Europe. She has been particularly successful in several countries in the East, such as South Korea, Sør-Korea and Japan. In 2007 she had eight sold out concerts in four days at the famous "Cotton Club" in Tokyo. In 2008 she returned and played eight new concerts at the same place. After two concerts and three TV shows in Korea in 2005, the album was on the bestseller list for six months. Album number two, ''By Myself'', has some original material, but also tunes by the likes of Hank Williams, Rod Stewart and U2. Oddmund Jarle Finnseth (born 11 February 1957 in Sortland, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (upright bass), composer and music teacher. Biography Finnseth studied music on the Jazz program at Trondheim musikkonservatorium (1983–86) and joined the Asmund Bjørken Orchestra during the time of his studies. Later he has recorded albums with 'Bjørn Krokfoss Octet' and the band 'Bossa Nordpå' (1993–) of Marit Sandvik. He was part of the Randy Johnston tour, led by Øystein Norvoll for the 'Nordnorsk Jazzsenter' (2002). Finnseth teaches music at the high school 'Sortland videregående skole' and 'Heggen videregående skole' in Harstad, and play in the bands 'Sortland Storband' and 'Steinar Kjeldsen Quartet'. Knut Jøran Helmers
Knut Jøran Helmers (7 February 1957 – 15 April 2021) was a Norwegian chess player. He won the Junior National Championships in 1972, after a play-off. He has been Norwegian Chess Champion twice, in 1976 and 1977. He also won the Nordic Chess Championship in Reykjavík in 1981. Helmers became an International Master (IM) in 1978, and was the seventh in Norway to take the title. He competed at five Chess Olympiads (Team World Chess Championships) for Norway, in 1976, 1978, 1980, 1982 and 1984. In 1980 and 1982 he played on the first table. In these 5 tournaments, he played a total of 52 matches, and finished with 30 points after 15 wins, 30 draws, and 7 defeats. Helmers retired from active tournament play in 1986. Inger Lise Husøy (born 30 January 1957) is a Norwegian trade unionist and politician for the Norwegian Labour Party. She was born in Rauma as a daughter of Gunnar Husøy and Karin Nord. She took her primary and secondary education in Åndalsnes, and also attended Borgund Folk High School and various colleges in the late 1970s and early 1980s. She worked in the newspaper ''Verdens Gang'' from 1980 to 1984, and later as a consultant for Fafo Institute for Labour and Social Research from 1986 to 1987 and National Institute for Consumer Research from 1987 to 1991.
