1999–2000 Connecticut Huskies Men's Basketball Team
The 1999–2000 Connecticut Huskies men's basketball team represented the University of Connecticut in the 1999–2000 collegiate men's basketball season. The Huskies completed the season with a 25–10 overall record. The Huskies were members of the Big East Conference where they finished with a 10–6 record. UConn advanced to the Second Round in the 2000 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament before losing to Tennessee 65–51. The Huskies played their home games at Harry A. Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut and the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and they were led by fourteenth-year head coach Jim Calhoun. The Big East Conference was a List of college athletic conferences, collegiate athletics conference that consisted of as many as 16 universities in the eastern half of the United States from 1979 to 2013. Jake Voskuhl
Robert Jacob Voskuhl (born November 1, 1977) is a retired American professional basketball player. After attending Strake Jesuit College Preparatory, Voskuhl went to the University of Connecticut from 1996 to 2000, where he was the starting center on the school's 1999 NCAA National Championship team. The squad also featured former NBA star Richard "Rip" Hamilton. He became a member of the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity while an undergraduate. Professional career Chicago Bulls (2000–2001) Voskuhl was drafted by the Chicago Bulls with the 33rd overall pick of the 2000 NBA draft, he only played 16 games in his rookie season, averaging 1.9 points and 2.1 rebounds per game. The Coppin State Eagles men's basketball team represents Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland, United States.
