1999–2000 Connecticut Huskies Men's Basketball Team
The 1999–2000 Connecticut Huskies men's basketball team represented the University of Connecticut in the 1999–2000 collegiate men's basketball season. The Huskies completed the season with a 25–10 overall record. The Huskies were members of the Big East Conference where they finished with a 10–6 record. UConn advanced to the Second Round in the 2000 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament before losing to Tennessee 65–51. The Huskies played their home games at Harry A. Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut and the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut, and they were led by fourteenth-year head coach Jim Calhoun. Big East Conference (1979–2013)
The Big East Conference was a List of college athletic conferences, collegiate athletics conference that consisted of as many as 16 universities in the eastern half of the United States from 1979 to 2013. The conference's members participated in 24 National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA sports.
