The rainbow jersey is the distinctive cycling jersey, jersey worn by the reigning World Cycling Championship, world champion in a cycling discipline, since 1927. Hendrik "Erik" Dekker (born 21 August 1970) is a retired Netherlands, Dutch professional road racing cyclist active from 1992 until 2006. He was a member of the Rabobank (cycling), Rabobank cycling team from 1992 till 2006. From 2007 to 2015 he was one of Rabobank's team managers.
