Ipswich () is a port town and Borough status in the United Kingdom, borough in Suffolk, England. It is the county town, and largest in Suffolk, followed by Lowestoft and Bury St Edmunds, and the third-largest population centre in East Anglia, after Peterborough and Norwich. Simon Milton (footballer)
Simon Milton (born 23 August 1963) is an English former professional footballer and academy co-ordinator at Ipswich Town. As a player, he was a midfielder from 1986 until 1997. During his career he made over 300 appearances for Ipswich Town. He also played for Bury Town, Exeter City, Torquay United and Braintree Town. Playing career Although born in London, Milton moved to Thetford as a teenager and began his career as junior with local side Thetford Rovers. He had unsuccessful trials with Norwich City and Cambridge United and began his senior career with Thetford before joining another local non-league side, Bury Town. He played for Thetford in a friendly against Ipswich Town and impressed Ipswich manager Bobby Ferguson enough to earn a trial. Paul David Mason (born 3 September 1963) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder from 1984 until 2000. He played in the Premier League and Football League for Ipswich Town, the Scottish Premier League for Aberdeen and in the Netherlands for Groningen. Playing career Mason played for Liverpool Schoolboys from the under 12s through to the under 16s. At the age of 16, he joined his lifelong heroes, Everton FC, as a youth player. Mason played for Everton for approximately 12 months before the club let him go, citing Mason's small physique at the time, as the reason for their decision. Daniel James Sonner (born 9 January 1972) is an English-born former Northern Ireland international footballer. He won 13 caps in a seven-year international career. A much-travelled midfielder, despite 18 years of professional football, he never spent more than two seasons at any one club. He played for numerous English clubs, predominantly in the Midlands, and also played in Germany. In the latter part of his career, he was easily recognizable due to his iconic long hair. Kieron Dyer
Kieron Courtney Dyer (born 29 December 1978) is an English former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is a first team coach at Chesterfield FC. Born in Ipswich, Dyer played youth football for his home club Ipswich Town before going on to make nearly 100 league appearances for the club's first team. He was sold to Newcastle United for £6 million, at the time the highest fee paid for an Ipswich player, and made nearly 200 appearances for Newcastle between 1999 and 2007. Matthew Rhys Holland (born 11 April 1974) is a former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He is a director and club ambassador at Ipswich Town. Holland began his career at West Ham United, having previously been with Arsenal's academy. During his time at West Ham spent time out on loan at Farnborough Town and AFC Bournemouth, going on to join the later permanently in 1995. Mauricio Ricardo Taricco (born 10 March 1973) is an Argentine professional football coach and former player who is currently the assistant coach of K League 1 side Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors. Gustav Reinier Uhlenbeek (born 20 August 1970) is a Dutch former footballer. He was born in Paramaribo in the former Dutch colony Suriname, but grew up in Amsterdam. Uhlenbeek spent more than a decade in English football, and was released by Halifax Town at the end of the 2006–07 season. Career Uhlenbeek plays on the right side of midfield, or as a right-back.
