1997 Wimbledon Championships – Boys' Doubles
Daniele Bracciali and Jocelyn Robichaud were the defending champions, but both turned 18 years old during the season and, therefore, were unable to compete in Juniors. Luis Horna and Nicolás Massú defeated Jaco van der Westhuizen and Wesley Whitehouse in the final, 6–4, 6–2 to win the boys' doubles tennis title at the 1997 Wimbledon Championships. It was the 2nd Grand Slam title for Horna and the 1st Grand Slam title for Massú in their respective junior doubles careers. Luis Horna
Luis Horna Biscari (; born 14 September 1980 in Lima) is a former tour professional tennis player from Peru, who turned professional in 1998. Known by his nickname "Lucho", he won 2 career singles titles, reached the quarterfinals of the 2004 Madrid Masters and achieved a career-high singles ranking of World No. 33 in August 2004. Together with Pablo Cuevas, Horna also won the men's doubles at the 2008 French Open. At the 2003 French Open, he defeated Roger Federer in the first round. Career Juniors Horna was an outstanding junior player, reaching as high as No. 4 in the world in singles 1997 (and No. 3 in doubles). He made the final of the boys singles at the French Open in 1997 losing to Daniel Elsner. Daniel Elsner
Daniel Elsner (born 4 January 1979) is a former professional German tennis player. Juniors Elsner was an outstanding juniors player. He won 3 consecutive juniors grand slam singles titles: the 1996 Juniors U.S. Open, the 1997 Juniors Australian Open, and 1997 Juniors French Open; as well as making the finals of the subsequent 1997 Juniors Wimbledon. He is one of only 12 male players (as of May 2017) to win at least 3 junior grand slam singles titles, and one of only 4 to do so consecutively. He was a World No. 1 junior player in singles. ATP Tour Elsner turned professional in 1997 and won several futures tournaments, but had limited success on the ATP tour. Fernando Francisco González Ciuffardi (; born 29 July 1980) is a Chilean former professional tennis player. Dan Kiernan
Daniel Kiernan (born 27 March 1980) is a British former professional tennis player. Biography Kiernan, who is originally from the town of Consett near Newcastle, played collegiate tennis in the United States for Louisiana State University. Mostly a doubles player, Kiernan began on the Challenger circuit in 2003 and went on to finish runner-up in four doubles finals during his career. Kiernan made main draw appearances in ATP Tour tournaments in 2004 at Queen's Club and Nottingham, both with David Sherwood, partnering with the same player to make his Wimbledon debut that year.
