PAOK FC (, ), short for "Pan-Thessalonian Sports club, Athletic Club of Constantinople, Constantinopolitans" (), and commonly known as PAOK Thessaloniki, PAOK Salonika or simply PAOK, is a Greek professional Association football, football club based in Thessaloniki, Macedonia (Greece), Macedonia, Greece. PAOK are one of the top domestic clubs, the most widely supported in Northern Greece. Established on 20 April 1926 by Greek refugees who fled to Thessaloniki from Istanbul, Constantinople in the wake of the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922), they play their home games at Toumba Stadium, a 29,000 seating capacity football ground. PAOK Academy
PAOK Academy is the football academy system of Greece, Greek professional Association football, football club PAOK FC, PAOK consisting of eleven official youth teams (Under-6/7, Under-8, Under-9, Under-10, Under-11, Under-12, Under-13, Under-14, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-20), based on the young athletes' age. PAOK FC, PAOK's U15, U17 and U20 teams all play in Greek Superleague Greece, Superleague's (Superleague U15, U17 and U20 respectively). Ιn 2016–17 season, U20 team participated in 2016–17 UEFA Youth League, UEFA Youth League as a champion on official superleague U17 2015–16. This academy holds more than 280 young players, and also more than 50 people work there (coaches, trainers, doctors etc.). The PAOK Academy maintains 16 training centers outside of Thessaloniki. Micky Quinn
Michael Quinn (born 2 May 1962) is an English former professional footballer who played as a centre forward. Quinn's playing career lasted from 1979 until 1996. John Anastasiadis
Giannis "Johnny" Anastasiadis (Greek: Γιάννης "Τζόνι" Αναστασιάδης; born 13 August 1968 in Melbourne, Australia) is a former Australian soccer player who spent the majority of his career playing for Greek club PAOK FC. Antonis Gioukoudis (; born 13 May 1969) is a Greek former footballer who played as a forward. He spent ten years playing in the Alpha Ethniki for Aris Thessaloniki and PAOK, and made an appearance for the Greece national team. Kostas Lagonidis (Greek: Κώστας Λαγωνίδης; born 1 July 1965) is a Greek former football player and current football manager. Career Lagonidis began his career at Xanthi in 1985. Giorgos Toursounidis
Georgios Toursounidis (Greek: Γεώργιος Τουρσουνίδης; born 21 August 1970) is a retired Greek footballer. He played for PAOK and Xanthi. Toursounidis was born in 1970. He made 263 league appearances for PAOK, scoring 35 goals, and became a fan favorite due to his work ethic and obsession with the club. His most memorable game for PAOK was an away game against bitter rivals Aris Thessaloniki, with PAOK winning by a score of 4–0, when Toursounidis scored twice. He left PAOK in 1999, spending two seasons at Skoda Xanthi. In January 2002 Toursounidis signed a six-month contract with PAOK and retired after the end of the season. Theodoros Zagorakis
Theodoros Zagorakis ( ; born 27 October 1971) is a Greek politician and former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. He was the captain of the Greece team that won UEFA Euro 2004, and was also captain and later president of PAOK. He was named the Greek Male Athlete of the Year in 2004.
