1995 ACC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 1995 Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball tournament took place in Greensboro, North Carolina, at the Greensboro Coliseum. Wake Forest won the tournament, defeating North Carolina, 82–80, in the championship game. Randolph Childress of Wake Forest was named tournament MVP, scoring 107 points in three games, a tournament record that still stands as of 2020. Rasheed Wallace
Rasheed Abdul Wallace (born September 17, 1974) is an American basketball coach and former professional player. A native of Philadelphia, Wallace played college basketball for the North Carolina Tar Heels before declaring for the draft in 1995. He played 16 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Originally selected by the Washington Bullets (now known as the Washington Wizards) as the fourth pick in the 1995 NBA draft, Wallace was named to the All-Rookie second team following his first season. He was then traded to the Portland Trail Blazers after the season. Thomas Harold "Junior" Burrough (born January 18, 1973) is an American former professional basketball player who last played for the Gaiteros del Zulia. College playing career He played four seasons with the University of Virginia, which he averaged 15.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. He was included in the third-team of the Atlantic Coast Conference in 1994 and 1995. Professional career Burrough was selected by the Boston Celtics with the 33rd overall pick in the 1995 NBA draft.
