1994 Wimbledon Championships – Women's Doubles
Gigi Fernández and Natasha Zvereva successfully defended their title, defeating Jana Novotná and Arantxa Sánchez Vicario in the final, 6–4, 6–1 to win the ladies' doubles tennis title at the 1994 Wimbledon Championships. The win marked their third consecutive Wimbledon crown together, as well as their 9th grand slam title in the last 10 consecutive grand slams. Gigi Fernández
Beatriz "Gigi" Fernández (born February 22, 1964) is a Puerto Rican former professional tennis player. Fernández won 17 Grand Slam (tennis)#Tournaments, major doubles titles and two Olympic gold medals representing the United States, and reached the List of WTA number 1 ranked doubles tennis players, world No. 1 ranking in doubles. She reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 17 in 1991. Since retiring from the professional tour in 1997 at the age of 33, Fernández has been a tennis coach and entrepreneur. She now shares her knowledge of doubles with tennis enthusiasts throughout the US by conducting Master Doubles with Gigi Clinics and Doubles Boot Camps. Shaun Stafford Beckish (born December 13, 1968), née Shaun Stafford, is an American former college and professional tennis player who played on the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) tour from 1989 to 1996. As a collegiate tennis player, Stafford won the 1988 NCAA national singles championship while playing for the University of Florida. Nana Smith (born Nana Miyagi ( Japanese: 宮城ナナ); 10 April 1971) is an American-born tennis player who played for Japan. Yayuk Basuki (born 30 November 1970) is an Indonesian former professional tennis player who is now a politician. She is the highest-ever ranked tennis player from Indonesia, having reached No. 19 in singles in the WTA rankings in October 1997. Julie Halard-Decugis (born 10 September 1970) is a French former professional tennis player.
