The 1994 Cupa României Final was the 56th final of Romania's most prestigious cup competition. The final was played at the Stadionul Regie in Bucharest on 30 April 1994 and was contested between Divizia A sides Gloria Bistriţa and Universitatea Craiova. The cup was won by Gloria Bistriţa. 1993–94 Cupa României
The 1993–94 Cupa României was the 56th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Gloria Bistrița against FC U Craiova. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes into extra time. If the match is still tied, the result is decided by penalty kicks. From the first edition, the teams from Divizia A entered in competition in sixteen finals, rule which remained till today. The Florentine florin was a gold coin (in Italian ''Fiorino d'oro'') struck from 1252 to 1533 with no significant change in its design or metal content standard during that time. It had 54 grains () of nominally pure or 'fine' gold with a purchasing power difficult to estimate (and variable) but ranging according to social grouping and perspective from approximately 140 to 1,000 modern US dollars. An ion () is an atom or molecule with a net electrical charge. The charge of an electron is considered to be negative by convention and this charge is equal and opposite to the charge of a proton, which is considered to be positive by convention. Valer Săsărman (25 August 1969 – 29 August 2021) was a Romanian professional footballer who played as a defender. Săsărman started his career at Laminorul Beclean, but played for the rest of it for Gloria Bistrița, appearing in 329 Divizia A matches and scoring seven goals. After retirement Săsărman started his football manager career, returning to the same teams for which he played. He died on 29 August 2021, after suffering a stroke at his home from Măluț, Bistrița-Năsăud County.
