1993–94 FC Barcelona Season
FC Barcelona had one of its most successful seasons in the club's history, retaining the domestic league supremacy and reaching the final of the UEFA Champions League; however they collapsed 0–4 against A.C. Milan (goals from Daniele Massaro, Dejan Savićević and Marcel Desailly). Their progress to the final in Athens had been virtually flawless. Indeed, on their way the Catalans had won four group games and drawn two to reach the semifinals, where they defeated FC Porto in a single-game tie at Camp Nou. Romário and Hristo Stoichkov and Ronald Koeman were the main reasons for Barcelona' success. Daniele Massaro
Daniele Emilio Massaro (; born 23 May 1961) is an Italian former footballer who played as a forward. Throughout his career, Massaro played for several Italian clubs, including Monza, Fiorentina, AC Milan, and Roma, before ending his career in Japan with Shimizu S-Pulse. He is mainly remembered for his highly successful career with AC Milan during the late 1980s and 1990s, under managers Arrigo Sacchi and Fabio Capello, with whom he went on to achieve notable domestic, European, and international success. He won four Serie A titles and two European Cup/UEFA Champions League titles with Milan, among other trophies, notably scoring twice in Milan's 4–0 win over Barcelona in the 1994 Champions League final. Miguel Ángel Nadal
Miguel Ángel Nadal Homar (, ; born 28 July 1966) is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a versatile defender and midfielder. Juan Carlos Rodríguez Moreno (born 19 January 1965), known as Juan Carlos, is a Spanish retired professional footballer who played as a left-back. Club career Juan Carlos was born in Puente Castro, León. Albert Ferrer Llopis (; born 6 June 1970) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a right-back, and was also a manager. Having represented Barcelona for almost a decade, he went on to appear for England's Chelsea until his retirement. Andoni Zubizarreta Urreta (, ; born 23 October 1961) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. Carles Busquets Barroso (; born 19 July 1967) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper, mostly for Barcelona. Hristo Stoichkov Stoichkov (; born 8 February 1966) is a Bulgarian former professional Association football, footballer and current football commentator for TUDN.
