1993 Wimbledon Championships – Men's Doubles
Todd Woodbridge and Mark Woodforde defeated Grant Connell and Patrick Galbraith in the final, 7–5, 6–3, 7–6(7–4) to win the gentlemen's doubles title at the 1993 Wimbledon Championships. It was the Woodies' first Wimbledon title, their second major title overall, and their second step towards the career Super Slam. John McEnroe and Michael Stich were the reigning champions, but McEnroe did not compete this year. Stich partnered Wayne Ferreira, but was defeated in the third round by Jeremy Bates and Byron Black. Todd Woodbridge
Todd Andrew Woodbridge, OAM (born 2 April 1971) is an Australian broadcaster and former professional tennis player. During his playing career, he formed multiple Grand-Slam winning doubles partnerships with Mark Woodforde (nicknamed " The Woodies") and later Jonas Björkman. He is among the most successful doubles players of all time, having won 16 Grand Slam men's doubles titles (nine Wimbledons, three US Opens, three Australian Opens and one French Open), and a further six Grand Slam mixed doubles titles (three US Opens, one French Open, one Wimbledon, one Australian Open). Additionally, he was a gold medalist with Woodforde at the 1996 Summer Olympics to complete a career Golden Slam. In total he has won 83 ATP doubles titles. Wally Masur
Wally Masur (; born 13 May 1963) is a tennis coach, television commentator, and former professional tennis player from Sydney, Australia. He reached the semifinals of the 1987 Australian Open and the 1993 US Open, achieving a career-high singles ranking of world No. 15 in October 1993. Tennis career Juniors Masur began playing tennis at the age of eight. In 1980, he reached the final of the Australian Open boys' singles tournament and won the boys' doubles title. Shelby Cannon (born August 19, 1966) is an American retired professional tennis player. Cannon enjoyed most of his tennis success while playing doubles. Rick Leach
Rick Leach (born December 28, 1964) is a former professional tennis player and coach from the United States. A doubles specialist, he won five Grand Slam doubles titles (three at the Australian Open, one at Wimbledon, and one at the US Open), and four mixed doubles titles (two at the Australian Open, one at Wimbledon, and one at the US Open). He reached the world No. 1 doubles ranking in 1990. Leach was a member of the US team which won the Davis Cup in 1990. Partnering Jim Pugh, he won the doubles rubbers in all four of the rounds which the US played in that year, and clinched the team's victory in the final with a win over Pat Cash and John Fitzgerald of Australia. Ken Flach
Kenneth Eliot Flach (May 24, 1963 – March 12, 2018) was an American doubles world No. 1 tennis player. He won four Grand Slam men's doubles titles (two Wimbledon and two US Open), and two mixed doubles titles (Wimbledon and the French Open). Jakob Hlasek (; born 12 November 1964) is a Swiss former professional tennis player of Czech origin. He won a major doubles title at the 1992 French Open, partnering Marc Rosset. Sergio Casal
Sergio Casal Martínez (born 8 September 1962) is a former professional tennis player from Spain. During his career, he won three Grand Slam doubles titles, as well as the men's doubles silver medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics. Casal turned professional in 1981. He won his first top-level doubles title in 1983 at Aix-en-Provence. He captured a total of 47 men's doubles titles during his career. Luke Jensen (born June 18, 1966) is an American former professional tennis player and Grand Slam doubles champion. Jensen won the 1993 French Open Doubles title with his younger brother Murphy Jensen. He attended the University of Southern California from 1986–87 and earned singles All-American honors both years (doubles in 1987). He began working for ESPN as a tennis analyst in 1994.
