Season When Trapattoni left Inter, in order to coach Juventus again, the club found his substitute in Corrado Orrico. Despite being UEFA Cup defending champions, the European title was lost. It was due to Boavista, who passed the round with a 2–1 aggregate (2–1 and 0–0 were the results). Midway through the league, due to the poor trend, Orrico was replaced by Luis Suárez. The Spanish, former Inter player, did not manage to improve the performances whilst Zenga saw his relationship with supporters deteriorate. Desideri, was also cut from the team after have mocking the coach (following a goal celebration). Nicola Berti (; born 14 April 1967) is an Italian former Association football, footballer, who played as a midfielder. Alessandro Bianchi (; born 7 April 1966) is an Italian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder or as forward, in the position of right winger. Club career Bianchi spent most of his career with Cesena, making his professional debut during the 1985–86 Serie B season and also retiring with the club in 2001, and with Inter. Riccardo Ferri (; born 20 August 1963) is an Italian former footballer who played as a defender, in the role of centre-back. At international level, he represented Italy at the 1984 Summer Olympics, at UEFA Euro 1988, and at the 1990 FIFA World Cup.
