The 1991 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira was the 13th edition of the Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira, the annual Portuguese football season-opening match contested by the winners of the previous season's top league and cup competitions (or cup runner-up in case the league- and cup-winning club is the same). The 1991 Supertaça Cândido de Oliveira was contested over two legs, and opposed Benfica and Porto of the Primeira Liga. Benfica qualified for the SuperCup by winning the 1990–91 Primeira Divisão, whilst Porto qualified for the Supertaça by winning the 1990–91 Taça de Portugal. The Estádio Cidade de Coimbra (') is a stadium in Coimbra, Portugal. This stadium belongs to the Municipality of Coimbra and is mainly used by the Associação Académica de Coimbra - O.A.F., Académica de Coimbra's soccer, football team. Pedro Manuel Valido Franco (born 13 March 1970) is a Portuguese former footballer who played as a central defender. Currently, he is an assistant coach for Benfica B in Liga Portugal 2. Mats Tuve Magnusson (born 10 July 1963) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as a striker. Vasili Kulkov
Vasili Sergeyevich Kulkov (; 11 June 1966 – 10 October 2020) was a Russian footballer. Either a central defender or defensive midfielder, he was best known for his spells at Spartak Moscow and Benfica. Having retired as a player, he continued his work in football as an assistant in various coaching and managerial crews.
