Országos Bajnokság I (, commonly abbreviated OB I) is the highest level water polo league for men in Hungary, that is administered and supervised by the Hungarian Water Polo Federation. Since 2009, after signed a four-year sponsorship contract with telecommunications company Vodafone, the competition is officially known as Vodafone OB I. Debreceni Vízilabda Sport Egyesület is a Hungary, Hungarian water polo club from Debrecen, that plays in the Országos Bajnokság I (men's water polo), OB I, the top-level league of water polo in Hungary. Founded in 2006, the team first entered the domestic competition system in 2007, playing in the third division. They won promotion to the second-tier championship in 2010, but, after received an invitation from the Hungarian Waterpolo Federation to join the expanding OB I, Debrecen jumped another level and began the 2010–11 season in the top division. Csongrád (; , archaically also ''Црноград/Crnograd,'' ) is a town in Csongrád County in southern Hungary. History At the time of the Hungarian Conquest (the end of 9th century) the Maros Valley was under Bulgarian control. The fortress was known as Chorniy Grad (Slavs, Slavic term for 'black castle') and served as a Bulgarian-Slavic guard outpost. Later King Saint Stephen of Hungary, Stephen (1000–1038) made the town a state administration center, giving its name to a county. It remained a county seat till the Mongol invasion of Hungary (1240–42). The town and fortress were badly damaged by the Mongols; king Béla IV subsequently transferred the county seat to Szeged in 1247. The move significantly affected Csongrád's recovery.
