Liga MX
Liga MX, also known as Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Mexico and the highest level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Liga Mayor (1943–1949) and also as Primera División de México (1949–2012), it has 18 participating clubs, with each season divided into two short tournaments, ''Apertura'' from July to December and ''Clausura'' from January to May. The champions are decided by a final phase called ''"liguilla"''. Since 2020, promotion and relegation has been suspended, which is to last until 2026. The league currently ranks first in CONCACAF's league ranking index. Ángeles De Puebla
Club Ángeles de Puebla was a football team that played in Mexican Primera División and in Primera División A, it had its home in the city of Puebla de Zaragoza in Mexico. The team was founded in the years 1984–85 after the purchase of the Club de Fútbol Oaxtepec franchise. This team did not have any success, but it was always provided with the support of the people. It was a hardened team that strained to a great extent in its stay in the Mexican Primera División. After the 1989–90 season, the franchise was sold and transferred to Torreón and was made into Santos. The club made a brief comeback in 1999, which ended in 2001. Estadio Azul
Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes (English: Sports City Stadium) is a 34,253-seat multi-purpose stadium located in Ciudad de los Deportes, Mexico City. The facility is used for association football matches and for American football as well. The Tazón México has been played at the stadium. It is the current home stadium of football club Club América. In summer 2016, Mexico City authorities announced plans to demolish the stadium would begin at the end of the 2017-2018 Liga MX season. However, in July 2018, the demolition project was put on hold. In the 2023–24 Liga MX season, Cruz Azul returned to the stadium. Both times Mexico hosted the World Cup, Estadio Azul did not host matches mainly due to the age of the structure, bad parking facilities, and complex traffic patterns. Estadio Cuauhtémoc is a Association football, football stadium in Puebla (city), Puebla City, Mexico. It is the home of Club Puebla . It is currently the fourth-biggest football stadium in Mexico by capacity. The stadium has been the host of the 1970 FIFA World Cup and the 1986 FIFA World Cup. From November 2014 – 2015, the stadium went through massive renovations. Deportivo Neza also known as Coyotes is a Mexican football team. The club was founded in 1978 when the city of Ciudad Neza bought the Club de Fútbol Laguna franchise. The club has played in various leagues in Mexico. The club played from 1978 to 1988 in the first division before the club was sold and moved to Tamaulipas and renamed Correcaminos UAT.
