1986–87 Duke Blue Devils Men's Basketball Team
The 1986–87 Duke Blue Devils men's basketball team represented Duke University. The head coach was Mike Krzyzewski and the team finished the season with an overall record of 24–9. In the 1987 NCAA Tournament Duke was invited as a #5 seed. After posting two wins, Duke lost 88–82 to Indiana the eventual National Champion. Mike Krzyzewski
Michael William Krzyzewski ( , ; born February 13, 1947), nicknamed "Coach K", is an American former college basketball coach.
