PAOK FC (, ), short for "Pan-Thessalonian Sports club, Athletic Club of Constantinople, Constantinopolitans" (), and commonly known as PAOK Thessaloniki, PAOK Salonika or simply PAOK, is a Greek professional Association football, football club based in Thessaloniki, Macedonia (Greece), Macedonia, Greece. PAOK are one of the top domestic clubs, the most widely supported in Northern Greece. Established on 20 April 1926 by Greek refugees who fled to Thessaloniki from Istanbul, Constantinople in the wake of the Greco-Turkish War (1919–1922), they play their home games at Toumba Stadium, a 29,000 seating capacity football ground. Rade Paprica (born 29 November 1956) is a Bosnian retired professional footballer who played in the former Yugoslavia, Greece and Turkey. Coaching career Esperos Terpsitheas FC (2016-2018) Club career Born in Foča, SR Bosnia and Herzegovina, SFR Yugoslavia, Paprica started playing at local FK Sutjeska Foča. From 1977 to 1984 he played for local powerhouse Željezničar. Paprica played for Greek side PAOK Thessaloniki from 1984 to 1986. Vassilis Vasilakos
Vasilios Vasilakos (; born 7 September 1960) is a Greek former professional footballer, who played as an attacking midfielder. Club career Vasilakos started his football career from Almyros Volos and in the summer of 1979 he was transferred to PAOK. He played with PAOK for 8 seasons, where he won the Championship in 1985 and played as a finalist in 2 Greek Cup finals in 1983 and in 1985. In the summer of 1987, Andreas Zafeiropoulos the president of AEK Athens brought Vasilakos to the club. He stood out for his good execution in set-pieces but also for his ability in assists, a fact that made his then teammate top scorer of the league in the season, Henrik Nielsen, credit him with a large part of his success. Giorgos Skartados
Georgios Skartados (Greek: Γεώργιος Σκαρτάδος; born 7 April 1960) is a Greek former international footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Born in Rhodes, Skartados started his football career at local club Rodos in 1975, aged 15. The next year, he joined the first team and after two seasons in the second division, they managed to get promoted to the top-tier Alpha Ethniki in 1978. In the summer of 1982, he joined PAOK and quickly became a first-team regular at the ''White-blacks of the North''. Although he was initially acquired by PAOK president Giorgos Pantelakis to replace Giannis Gounaris as a right wing-back, Skartados shined as a ''box-to-box midfielder'' who had good all-round abilities, skilled at both defending and attacking.
