1983–84 FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup
The 1983–84 FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup was the eighteenth edition of FIBA's 2nd-tier level European-wide professional club basketball competition, contested between national domestic cup champions, running from 27 September 1983, to 14 March 1984. It was contested by 24 teams, five more than in the previous edition. Real Madrid defeated Simac Milano, in the final held in Ostend, winning its first FIBA European Cup Winners' Cup. FIBA Saporta Cup
The FIBA Saporta Cup, founded as ''FIBA European Cup Winners Cup'', was the name of the second-tier level European-wide professional club basketball competition, where the domestic National Cup winners, from all over Europe, played against each other. The competition was organized by FIBA Europe. It was named after the late Raimundo Saporta, a former Real Madrid director. Achilleas
Achilleas (Αχιλλέας Καϊμακλίου) is a Cypriot basketball club founded in 1943, nowadays running basketball, volleyball and table tennis divisions. It has been a part of the community in the suburb of Kaimakli in Nicosia. The club is named after Achilles (Ἀχιλλεύς) a legendary figure of the Greek mythology. Turun NMKY (YMCA Turku) is a Finnish professional basketball club, based in Turku. The club plays in men's I-B-division. History Turun NMKY was founded in 1920. The team has played in a total of 32 through the top league level championships. NMKY has won the championship in Finland and the Finnish Cup, both four times. The Solent Stars were a basketball club from Southampton, who were one of the founder members of the British Basketball League, where they competed from 1987 to 1990. For the rest of their existence, the club competed in the English Basketball League and its forerunner the National Basketball League, and the club were members of Division 1 at the time of the club's demise. Basketballklubben BMS, referred to as BMS, is a professional basketball club based in Ballerup–Måløv– Skovlunde, Denmark.
