1982–83 Polish Cup
The 1982–83 Polish Cup was the 29th edition of the annual Polish football knockout tournament. It started on the 23 July 1982 and finished on 22 June 1983. The finalists were 2nd division Piast Gliwice and 3rd division Lechia Gdańsk, with Lechia Gdańsk winning the Polish Cup for the first time after winning the final 2–1. Round 1 First round fixtures. Piotrków Trybunalski (; also known by #Etymology, alternative names), often simplified to Piotrków, is a city in central Poland with 71,252 inhabitants (2021). It is the capital of Piotrków County and the second-largest city in the Łódź Voivodeship. Lechia Zielona Góra is a Polish football club located in Zielona Góra, Poland. The team's colors are blue and yellow. In 2012, the club merged with the local academy UKP Zielona Góra, dropping the historic ''Lechia'' name and temporarily competed under the sponsor's name Stelmet Zielona Góra but the club eventually folded in 2015. The club formed the basis of a new club Falubaz Zielona Góra; in 2019, Lechia was reactivated on its basis in turn.
