Vyacheslav Zaytsev
Vyacheslav Alekseyevich Zaytsev (, 12 November 1952 – 12 June 2023) was a Russian volleyball player who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1976 Summer Olympics, 1976, 1980 Summer Olympics, 1980, and the 1988 Summer Olympics. He was a setter. In 1976, Zaytsev was part of the Soviet Union men's national volleyball team, Soviet team that won the silver medal in the Olympic tournament in Montreal. Zaytsev became the team captain in 1977 and played a major role in helping the Soviet Union become a dominant team in the late 1970s to early 1980s. Viljar Loor (1 October 1953 – 22 March 2011) was among the most accomplished Estonian volleyball players. At the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, Loor won the gold medal with the Soviet Union men's national volleyball team. Aleksandr Borisovich Savin (; born 1 July 1957) is a Russian former volleyball player who competed for the Soviet Union in the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal and the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Early life and education Savin was born in Taganrog. As a child, he moved with his parents in the city of Obninsk, Kaluga Oblast. He studied at the high school No.6 Obninsk.
