Hong Kong was a British colony, colony and later a British Dependent Territory, dependent territory of the British Empire from 1841 to 1997, apart from a period of occupation under the Japanese Empire from Japanese occupation of Hong Kong, 1941 to 1945 during the Pacific War. Etsuko Handa
is a former Japanese football player. She played for Japan national team, and competed at the 1996 Summer Olympics. Club career Handa was born in Shizuoka on May 10, 1965. She played for her local club Shimizudaihachi SC and Suzuyo Shimizu FC Lovely Ladies (formerly ''Shimizu FC Ladies''). In 1989, at Shimizu FC Ladies, the club won championship in L.League first season. And she was named first MVP awards in the league. In 1993 season, she scored 14 goals and she became top scorer. Chou Tai-ying
Chou Tai-ying (; born 16 August 1963) is a Taiwanese female association football coach and former player. She is considered the most successful Taiwanese footballer so far. Career She was Chinese Taipei's key player in the 1980s and early 1990s, winning three AFC Women's Championships (1977, 1979, 1981) and two OFC Women's Championships (1986, 1989). She was also one of the few Taiwanese players who have played for foreign professional clubs. In 1987, she joined the German football club SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 and won two championships. She joined Suzuyo Shimizu F.C. Ladies of Japanese L. League in 1989, in which Shimizu F.C. Shanti Mullick
Shanti Mullick is an Indian former women's footballer who played as a forward for the India women's national football team. Mullick is the first Indian women's footballer to receive the Arjuna Award, the second-highest Indian sports award. Career Football Mullick was born in Kalighat, Kolkata, West Bengal and her father was also a footballer who served in the military. Mullick represented India at the AFC Women's Championships where the team reached the finals twice and finished as runners-up in the 1980 and 1983 editions. She played for the national team managed by legendary Sushil Bhattacharya. Her team also finished in third place in the 1981 edition. She captained the Indian team between 1981 and 1983. The 1980 AFC Women's Championship was the 3rd edition of the AFC Women's Championship (now the AFC Women's Asian Cup). The tournament was hosted by India (with two teams ''India N'' and ''India S'') and was the first time the competition was held in South Asia. It was originally scheduled to be held in 1979, but was eventually held between 11 and 20 January 1980. All matches were played at the EMS Stadium in Calicut (now Kozhikode), Kerala.
