Chilean Primera División
The Chilean Primera División () is a professional association football league in Chile and the highest level of the Chilean football league system. Founded in 1933, it is organized by the Asociación Nacional de Fútbol Profesional (ANFP). The league is officially known as the Liga de Primera Itaú due to sponsorship by Brazilian bank Itaú Unibanco, Itaú. Throughout its history, the Chilean Primera División has had different formats, structures and number of participants. The 2025 Chilean Primera División, 2025 season is being contested through a single tournament throughout the calendar year. A total of 16 teams participate in the competition and it works with a system of promotions and relegations with the immediately lower category, the Primera B de Chile, Primera B (category with which it shares the Copa Chile). Unión La Calera
Unión La Calera is a Chilean football club based in La Calera, Chile. The club competes in the Primera División de Chile. It was founded as Club de Deportes La Calera on 26 January 1954, after the merger of three teams from the city: ''Condor'', ''Calera Comercio'' and ''Tifón''. The following year, Deportes La Calera joined ''Club de Deportes Melón'' (originated by the merger between Cemento Melón and Minas Navío) to form Unión La Calera. After spending 6 seasons in the second division, the club obtained its first promotion to Primera División de Chile in 1961, where they remained until 1974. In 1985, they returned to top-tier, but they were relegated the incoming season. Alejandro Trujillo
Alejandro Magno Trujillo Obreke (26 March 1952 – 6 January 2020) was a Chilean professional footballer who played mainly as a forward for Unión Española, O'Higgins and Audax Italiano during the 1970s. He also earned three caps for the Chile national team. In 1999, he was voted to the O'Higgins ''Team of the Century'' by fans of the club. Nicknamed ''El Turco'' ("The Turk") for his appearance, he died on 6 January 2020 at the age of 67. Early years Trujillo grew up playing street football in the barrios of Estación Central. Juan Carlos Orellana Jara (21 June 1955 – 10 November 2022) was a Chilean footballer who played as a left winger. Career Orellana made his professional debut with Green Cross-Temuco in 1973, aged 17, scoring a goal. The next year, he switched to Colo-Colo. He played over 200 games for Colo-Colo. In 1987, he played abroad in Canada's National Soccer League with Chile Lindo. Personal life and death Orellana was nicknamed ''El Zurdo de Barrancas'' (The Lefty from Barrancas), due to the fact that he played with his left foot and came from , currently Pudahuel. Orellana suffered amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and died on 10 November 2022, at the age of 67. Unión San Felipe
Unión San Felipe is a Chilean football club, their hometown is San Felipe in the V Región of Valparaíso. They play in the second level of the Chilean football league, the Primera B. The club was founded on October 16, 1956 with the merger of ''Internacional'' and ''Tarcisio''. In November 2009, the club won the Copa Chile, their second major title, after beating Deportes Iquique in the final 3–0. With this victory, they gained qualification for the 2010 Copa Sudamericana, beating LDU Quito 4–2 in the first leg, but losing 6–1 in Ecuador and being eliminated. Naval de Talcahuano, were a Chilean football club based in the city of Talcahuano, Biobío Region.
