Liga MX
Liga MX, also known as Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Mexico and the highest level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Liga Mayor (1943–1949) and also as Primera División de México (1949–2012), it has 18 participating clubs, with each season divided into two short tournaments, ''Apertura'' from July to December and ''Clausura'' from January to May. The champions are decided by a final phase called ''"liguilla"''. Since 2020, promotion and relegation has been suspended, which is to last until 2026. Club Atlas
Atlas Fútbol Club is a Mexican professional football club based in Guadalajara. The club currently plays in Liga MX, the top division of Mexican football. The club was founded in 1916, it plays home matches at Estadio Jalisco. Atlas has won three league titles and four domestic cups. Club de Fútbol Laguna A.C. (nicknamed La Ola Verde) is a football club. The club played in the Mexican football league system Primera División de México and it was based in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico. History Club de Fútbol Laguna A.C. was founded in 1953 that same year the club join the Segunda División Profesional where they played from 1953 to 1967.
