Eddie Johnston
Edward Joseph Johnston (born November 24, 1935) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender and former coach and general manager in the National Hockey League. His professional career spanned fifty-three years (twenty-two as a player and thirty-one in management), mostly in the NHL. He won two Stanley Cups as a player with the Boston Bruins in 1970 and 1972, and a third in 2009 as senior advisor for hockey operations with the Pittsburgh Penguins, an organization he worked in various capacities for twenty-five years. Billy McNeill (ice Hockey)
William Ronald McNeill (January 26, 1936 – August 31, 2007) was a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He played in the National Hockey League with the Detroit Red Wings between 1956 and 1963. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1953 to 1971, was mainly spent in the minor Western Hockey League. Early life McNeill broke in with the local junior team, the Edmonton Oil Kings in 1951. He also played 49 games in 1954-55 with the Hamilton Tiger Cubs of the Ontario Hockey Association junior league. Red Kelly
Leonard Patrick "Red" Kelly (July 9, 1927 – May 2, 2019) was a Canadian professional hockey player and coach. Kelly played on more Stanley Cup-winning teams (eight) than any other player who never played for the Montreal Canadiens; Henri Richard (11), Jean Beliveau (10), Yvan Cournoyer (10) and Claude Provost (9) won their Cups with the Canadiens. He was also one of the only two players (the other is Terry Sawchuk) to have never played for the Canadiens and to be part of two of the nine dynasties recognized by the National Hockey League (NHL) in its history. Eddie Shack
Edward Steven Phillip Shack (February 11, 1937July 25, 2020), also known by his nicknames "the Entertainer" and "the Nose", was a Canadian professional ice hockey player of Ukrainian descent who played for six National Hockey League (NHL) teams from 1959 to 1975. Bill Gadsby
William Alexander Gadsby (August 8, 1927 – March 10, 2016) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played for the Chicago Black Hawks, New York Rangers, and Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League between 1946 and 1966. Playing career Gadsby began his outstanding hockey career in Calgary playing for several minor league teams including the Alberta Midget champions in 1942. He played two years for the Edmonton Junior Canadians before joining the Chicago Black Hawks in 1946. He was captain twice during his eight years with them. Gadsby contracted polio in 1952 but fought back without interrupting his hockey career, although he spent three weeks in the hospital. Garry Noel Price (born December 9, 1935) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played in the National Hockey League with seven teams between 1957 and 1976. He also spent considerable time in the minor American Hockey League during his career, which lasted from 1956 to 1976. Price started his National Hockey League career with the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1958. Claude Pronovost
Joseph Georges Claude Pronovost (July 22, 1935 – September 1, 2022) was a Canadian ice hockey goaltender who played three games in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens between 1956 and 1959, serving as an emergency goalie each time. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1952 to 1963, was spent in various minor leagues, mainly the Quebec Hockey League. He died on September 1. 2022 in Quebec, at the age of 87.
