Swedish Football Champions
Swedish football champions () is a title held by the winners of the highest Sweden, Swedish Association football, football league played each year, Allsvenskan. Malmö FF are the holders of the record of most titles with 24 Swedish championships, the most recent of which was won in 2024 Allsvenskan, 2024. The title has been contested since 1896 in various competition formats. The first Swedish Champions, Örgryte IS, were declared in 1896 when the club won the cup tournament Svenska Mästerskapet. This happened before there existed any Swedish national association, which was created in 1904. The winners of Svenska Mästerskapet between 1896 and 1904 have retroactively been declared holders of the title by the Swedish Football Association (SvFF). After the creation of the SvFF, the title continued to be held by the winners of Svenska Mästerskapet until 1925, even though a Swedish first national league, Svenska Serien, started in 1910. Bodens BK
Bodens BK is a Swedish football club located in Boden in Norrbotten. The club was formed on 2 November 1916 and began playing soccer in 1918. It is currently playing in the third tier of Swedish football, Division 1. Linguistics Note that the s in the first part of the club name (Bodens) is the Swedish possessive s, meaning that it is not correct to call the club just Bodens. Correct forms are Bodens Bandyklubb (the complete name, very formal), Bodens BK (abbreviated formal), BBK (abbreviated informal), or just Boden (since there are no other football clubs with the town name Boden in their name). Fässbergs IF is a Swedish football club, founded in 1916. They are based in Mölndal, near Gothenburg. The team won the Svenska Mästerskapet in 1924. Background Fässbergs IF was formed on 24 April 1916 by the Krokslätts IK, Mölndals IS and IK Celtic clubs. Historically, the first team has usually played in Division III and IV of the Swedish football league system. The club's greatest achievement was way back in 1924 when they won the Svenska Mästerskapet by beating IK Sirius 5–0 in the final. Jonsereds IF is a Swedish football club located in Jonsered, about east of Gothenburg (Göteborg). The club was founded on 2 May 1923 following the merger of Jonsereds GoIF and Bokedalens IF. Jonsereds IF currently plays in Division 3 Norra Götaland which is the fourth tier of Swedish football. They play their home matches at the Jonsereds IP.
