The 1910–11 NCAA men's basketball season began in December 1910, progressed through the regular season, and concluded in March 1911. Rule changes * Coaching was prohibited during the progress of the game by anyone connected with either team. The first violation resulted in a warning, and for each subsequent violation a free throw was awarded to the opposing team.
