10th Umm Al-Ma'arik Championship
The 10th Umm al-Ma'arik Championship () was the tenth occurrence of the Baghdad Championship. The competition was organised by the Iraq Football Association and the top eight teams of the 1999–2000 Iraqi First Division League competed in the tournament. The competition started on 3 December 2000 and ended on 15 December 2000 where, in the final, held at Al-Shaab Stadium, Al-Shorta defeated Al-Zawraa Al-Zawra'a Sports Club () is an Iraqi professional sports club based in Utayfia, Karkh District (near Tigris River), Baghdad. Husham Mohammed Fayadh Al-Dulaimi (, simply known as Husham Mohammed, born 10 May 1974 in Ramadi, Iraq) is a former Iraqi football striker who last played for Al-Karkh in Iraq. Al-Zawraa Stadium
Al-Zawra'a Stadium () is an association football stadium located in Baghdad, Iraq. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home of Al-Zawraa SC. The stadium was inaugurated in February 2022 and seats 15,443 spectators. History The stadium is located in a residential area in the middle of Baghdad. The old stadium held 15,000 people and was built in 1978. In 2011, the construction of a new stadium for Al-Zawraa SC was announced to replace the old stadium and to provide modern sports facilities for the population of Baghdad. In January 2012, the old stadium was demolished. The demolition and construction of the new Al-Zawra'a Stadium was entrusted to Boland Payeh Co, an Iranian company. Al-Saher Ahmed Radhi Stadium () is a multi-use stadium in Baghdad, Iraq. It is used mostly for football matches and serves as the home stadium of Al-Karkh SC. The stadium holds 5,150 people. Nashat Akram
Nashat Akram Abid Ali Al-Eissa (; born 12 September 1984) is an Iraqi former professional footballer. Popularly dubbed "The Maestro", he usually played as a playmaker or as an attacking midfielder and was known for his exceptional vision and excellent passing ability, as well as his ability to score goals from long range.
