The Ștefan cel Mare University of Suceava (, USV), also known as University of Suceava (), is a public university in Suceava, Suceava County, Bukovina, northeastern Romania, officially founded in 1990 and initially established in 1963 as the ''Institute of Pedagogy'' (). It was named in honour of the List of monarchs of Moldavia, Moldavian monarch () Stephen the Great (). It awards bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and Doctor of Philosophy, PhD degrees. The university is also open to international students from the European Union (EU) and/or outside of it.
