Şefik Abalı
Şefik Abalı (born 7 June 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a centre-back. Born in Austria, he represents Turkey internationally. Career Abalı made his professional debut with Wacker Innsbruck II in a 1–1 Austrian 2. Liga tie with FC Liefering on 29 May 2019. On 1 July 2021, he signed a four-year contract with Göztepe in Turkey. Seven days later, on 8 July 2021, he joined SKU Amstetten on loan, back in Austria. Abalı signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Eerste Divisie club Dordrecht on 31 January 2022. He made his debut for the club on 4 February, coming on as an injury-time substitute for Toine van Huizen in the 2–2 league draw against Almere City. Şefik Aker
Mehmed Şefik (1877 – 6 February 1964) known as Şefik Aker after the 1934 Surname Law, was an officer of the Ottoman Army and the Turkish Army. He is best known for his service during the Gallipoli campaign and in particular the defense he led during the first day of the Allied landing on 25 April 1915. He subsequently served in a number of senior roles during the rest of World War I and during the War of Independence. Career Early life Şefik was born an Albanian family in 1877 to Selim Bey in Kesriye which was part of the Province of Manastir of the Ottoman Empire in what is now Western Macedonia in modern Greece. He entered the Ottoman Military College in Istanbul in April 1894 where he was a successful student, though his achievements were not high enough upon his graduation with the rank of Lieutenant on 17 August 1896 for him to be selected to attend General Staff College. Šefik Bešlagić (6 April 1908 – 19 November 1990) was a cultural historian from Bosnia and Herzegovina, former Yugoslav republic. Biography Šefik Bešlagić was born in the town of Gornja Tuzla in 1908. Şefik Birkiye (born 1954) is a Turkish-Belgian architect who has designed buildings in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Monaco, Egypt, and Turkey, Turkiye. He is the founder of Vizzion Architects (originally named Atelier d'Art Urbain), an architecture studio that has been operating in Brussels since 1979, as well as Vizzion Europe, an international real estate development company. Şefik Can (June 22, 1909 – January 23, 2005) was a Turkish people, Turkish spiritual leader and the last Sufism, Sufi master in the Mevlevi Order, Mevlevi Sufi tradition in Turkey. Biography Born in 1909 in Tebricik village of Erzurum, Şefik Can completed his primary education in Yıldızeli, Sivas. Can learned Arabic and Persian language, Persian at an early age from his father, and graduated from the Kuleli Military High School in 1929 and the Military Academy in 1931. Then, with the permission of the Ministry of National Defense, he became a teacher at Istanbul University, and in 1935, completed his internship under Tahirü l-Mevlevi at Kuleli Military High School. Until his retirement in 1965, he taught at various military schools, civilian colleges and high schools. Ahmed Şefik Midhat Pasha (; 1822 – 26 April 1883) was an Ottoman politician, reformist, and statesman. He was the author of the Constitution of the Ottoman Empire.
