Łódź University Of Technology
Łódź University of Technology () was created in 1945 and has developed into one of the biggest technical universities in Poland. Originally located in an old factory building, today it covers nearly 200,000 sq. meters in over 70 separate buildings, the majority of which are situated in the main University area. As of 2018, around 15,000 students studied at the university. The educational and scientific tasks of the university are carried out by about 3,000 staff members. The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) is a business organization based in London, founded in 1882. It provides support for its members’ businesses through services and advocates on behalf of London’s business community. The European Language Certificates (telc; also known as telc language tests) are international standardised tests of ten languages. telc gGmbH is a non-profit language test, examination and certificate provider based in Frankfurt am Main. A subsidiary of the German Adult Education Association (DVV), it is the primary examination provider around the world for standardized telc language tests. telc gGmbH offers more than 70 different telc certificates, including general language and vocational examinations and tests for students. IAESTE
The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience, commonly referred to as IAESTE, is an international organization exchanging students for technical work experience abroad. Students gain relevant technical training lasting from 4 weeks to 52 weeks. IAESTE includes committees representing more than 80 countries, with the potential of accepting new countries into the organization every year. At the general conference 2005 held in Cartagena, Colombia, the statute and by-laws of IAESTE a.s.b.l. were established, making IAESTE a registered "associacion sans but lucratif" (non-profit organization), with the centre in Luxembourg. The current president is Bernard Baeyens from Colombia. IAESTE's motto is "Work, Experience, Discover". The European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) is one of the European Structural and Investment Funds allocated by the European Union. Its purpose is to transfer money from richer regions (not countries), and invest it in the infrastructure and services of underdeveloped regions. This will allow those regions to start attracting private sector investments, and create jobs on their own.
