Éamonn O'Shea
Dr. Eamon O'Shea (born 1958) is an Irish former hurler who played as a right wing-forward at senior level for the Tipperary and Dublin county teams. O'Shea began his senior career during the 1979 championship and was a regular player on the inter-county scene until his retirement after the 1986 championship. During that time he won one National Hurling League winners' medal. At club level O'Shea is an All-Ireland medalist with Kilruane MacDonagh's. In addition to this he has also won one Munster and four county club championship medals. A former coach of the Tipperary senior hurling team, O'Shea was appointed manager of the team in September 2012. O'Shea is currently based in Galway and works as the head of Economics at NUI Galway. Roscrea GAA
Roscrea GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club in Roscrea, County Tipperary, Ireland. The club is affiliated to the North Tipperary Board and is primarily concerned with the game of hurling. History Located in the town of Roscrea, on the Tipperary-Offaly border, Roscrea GAA Club was founded in 1895. The club spent most of its early existence operating in the junior grade in the various North Tipperary competitions. Roscrea had their breakthrough success in 1936 when the club claimed their first North Tipperary SHC title. Roscrea's breakthrough at county level came when the club won three successive Tipperary SHC titles between 1968 and 1970. The club also claimed back-to-back Munster Club SHC titles at this time. Liam Sheedy
Liam Sheedy (born 24 October 1969) is an Irish hurling manager and former player who was the manager of the Tipperary senior hurling team on two occasions. Born in Portroe, County Tipperary, Sheedy enjoyed All-Ireland success as a schoolboy hurler before enjoying championship success at club level with Portroe. After beginning his inter-county career with the Tipperary minor team, he later enjoyed All-Ireland successes with the Tipperary under-21 and junior teams. Sheedy made his senior debut during the 1989-90 league, however, it would be 1997 before he became a regular member of the starting fifteen. During his brief senior career he won a National Hurling League medal in 1999. Galway GAA
The Galway County Boards of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) () or Galway GAA are one of the 32 county boards in Ireland; they are responsible for Gaelic games in County Galway, and for the Galway county teams. Galway is one of the few dual counties in Ireland, competing in a similar level in both hurling and football codes.
