Álvaro Marcelo García Linera (; born 19 October 1962) is a Bolivian politician, sociologist, Marxist theoretician, and former guerrilla who served as the 38th vice president of Bolivia from 2006 to 2019. A member of the Movement for Socialism, in the early 1990s he was a leader of the Túpac Katari Guerrilla Army. Álvaro García Ortiz (born 16 December 1967) is a Spanish jurist and prosecutor who has worked for the Supreme Court of Spain. Since 2022, he has been Spanish attorney general. Prior to 2022, García Ortiz was chief prosecutor at the Prosecution Ministry. Career Born in Utrera, Province of Seville, García finished his formation with local CG Goyu-Ryu, signing for CD Utrera in August 2011.
