'68 (band)
68 is an American noise rock duo from Atlanta, Georgia. History Josh Scogin's former band, The Chariot, played their final show in November 2013. Just over a week later, Scogin teased an announcement with a countdown timer on the website ''theyare68.com''; when the timer ended in December 2013, Scogin revealed that he had formed a new band named '68 and posted a two-song EP, ''Midnight'', for sale online. The title of the EP and its two songs – "Three Is a Crowd" and "Third Time Is a Charm" – were significant to Scogin; the use of the number three in the song titles represented the third act of his life following his stints in Norma Jean and the Chariot, and Scogin also explained that the number three represents "that thought process of continuing on in my head: 'Three's a char ...

In Humor And Sadness
''In Humor and Sadness'' is the first full-length studio album by '68. The album was released on July 8, 2014. Writing and recording Guitarist and vocalist Josh Scogin said that he "wrote a lot of the songs and then would go in the studio and record it that day or the next day," and that drummer McClellan would record a song after only hearing it for the first time that day. Said Scogin, "it’s a very impulsive record, very sorta wing-it style, let’s try this, and there’s no time for looking back." A week prior to recording Scogin set up a small studio inside Matt Goldman's studio where he would write and record songs, "four or five, maybe six songs." Once official recording began, the songs were recorded very quickly, since Scogin choosing to leave in the "mistakes," because it felt "very human." Top Hard Rock Albums
The ''Billboard'' charts tabulate the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in the United States and elsewhere. The results are published in ''Billboard'' magazine. ''Billboard'' biz, the online extension of the ''Billboard'' charts, provides additional weekly charts, as well as year-end charts. The three most important charts are the ''Billboard'' Global 200 for songs globally, the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 for songs in the United States of America and the ''Billboard'' 200 for albums in the United States of America, and other charts may be dedicated to a specific genre such as R&B, country, or rock, or they may cover all genres. The charts can be ranked according to sales, streams, or airplay, and for main song charts such as the Hot 100 or Global 200 (though the latter globally) song chart, all three data are used to compile the charts. For the ''Billboard'' 200 album chart, streams and track sales are included in addition to album sales. The weekly sales and streams ...

Long Live (The Chariot Album)
''Long Live'' is the fourth studio album by The Chariot, released on November 23, 2010. Writing and recording Prior to recording ''Long Live'', Matt Goldman, the producer of all of The Chariot's albums to date, contacted the group in early 2010 and showed his interest in recording their next album live to analog magnetic tape. The act of recording an album live, as opposed to recording each instrument individually and digitally mixing it together later, has been used by The Chariot to achieve a more raw sound. This process was used entirely on their debut album, '' Everything Is Alive, Everything Is Breathing, Nothing Is Dead, and Nothing Is Bleeding'' in 2004. At least one song off of ''Long Live'' was recorded in this manner. Release and promotion Shortly after the release of their previous album, Wars and Rumors of Wars, the band held a contest for its promotion through their Myspace blog. Readers were instructed to obtain one of each of the band members' signatures throu ...
