. The center of Yalaha is southeast of the center of Leesburg, north of Groveland, and southwest of Tavares, the Lake county seat. According to the United States Census Bureau, the Yalaha CDP has a total area of , of which are land and , or 60.60%, are water. Most of the water area is part of Lake Harris, part of the upper Ocklawaha River basin.
