At the 2010 census, the township was 92.7% non-Hispanic White, 3.2% Black or African American, 0.1% Native American, 1.4% Asian, and 1.1% were two or more races. 1.6% of the population were of Hispanic or Latino ancestry. At the 2000 census there were 3,240 people, 1,009 households, and 855 families living in the township. The population density was 269.3 people per square mile (104.0/km2). There were 1,009 households, 46.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 77.5% were married couples living together, 4.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 15.2% were non-families. 12.0% of households were made up of individuals, and 4.3% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 3.07 and the average family size was 3.36. The age distribution was 33.7% under the age of 18, 4.6% from 18 to 24, 28.3% from 25 to 44, 25.9% from 45 to 64, and 7.5% 65 or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 106.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.6 males. The median household income was $86,881 and the median family income was $95,104.
