Vila Kennedy is a Bairro, neighborhood and favela in the Rio de Janeiro#Subdivisions, western zone of Rio de Janeiro. It is located on the fringes of Avenida Brasil (Rio de Janeiro), Avenida Brasil. Its streets have the names of Africa, African and Asia, Asian countries, as well as Musician, musicians. Before being an official neighborhood it was a part of Bangu, Rio de Janeiro, Bangu before being separated into its own neighborhood by law in July 2017.
