Since September 2002, he has worked for ARD as the presenter of the Saturday evening show ''Verstehen Sie Spaß?'', the German equivalent of '' Candid Camera''. Elstner presented his final episode of ''Verstehen Sie Spaß?'' on 21 November 2009.
